Firm supplies schools with low cost computers By Protas Onesmo

Aout 10 secondary schools have benefited from low cost computers and maintenance services from the West Europe Computer Limited. The secondary schools are from Moshi, Arusha, Tanga Morogoro and Dar es Salaam.

Speaking to Daily Times yesterday, Dar es Salaam, the managing director of West Europe Computer Ltd., Mr. Hazem Ahmed said, the company aimed at helping students to learn and use computers and sell at cheap cost.

Mr Ahmed said that the computer system was a new technology and was globally used. He said it was better for the people of Tanzania to learn and understand the use of computers, whereby each person should have their own computer.

He added that during the on-coming Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair, to take place at Mwalimu Nyerere Fair Grounds along Kilwa Road in Dar es Salaam, they would have enough quality computers to be sold at low prices.

West Europe Computer Ltd has its headquarters in Amsterdam. It has branches in Cairo, Accra and Dar es Salaam.
